Submit your site to the topsite. The more hits in you bring to the topsite from the code given to you, the higher your ranking will be. The higher your ranking the more exposure your site will get. All you have to do is place a link to the topsite on your site. The script can tell where the click came from. So if you bring in a unique visitor you will get credit for one hit in.

Right now the topsite doesn't have much members, but it will soon. The site has only been running a couple days. I am trying to get members from different kinds of blogs. I have mostly xanga. So if you can spread the link, it would be great. And the more traffic it gets the more traffic your blog will get. You can see how much hits out your blog gets in the stats page of your blog.

it's IMHO "hard" to get people to go on topsites. Those are generally used to get "found" by the SE.

I am digging this up as this is relevant to me, I am interested because the TopSite has now over 50 listings, but when looking at the averages (are they ins or outs?) they are very low, the site on Top has only 4 average hits, most have 0, TopSites can look very Boring ! Makes me wonder if I am wasting my time with mine, well I will see.

Does anyone ever return to the TopSite list ?
I know the ones (apart from PimpmyBlogs) that I have registered in I never bother returning to.

Surprise....I found the same original post/thread as above posted in many forums, my intention was to find my Google position for my Blog TopSite, this came as no surprise (really).

So I am challenging myself to outrank Flips TopSite in Google, but in an honest way.

What's everyones thought on spamming forums to boost Google/S.E positioning ?

On a better note I also noticed that a few forums had munged (erased) the URL of Flips TopSite.

I guess spamming forums doesn't count for much, as I have 2 sites already above Flips Spammed TopSite, still I haven't quite got my TopSite up there, I have my Swicki (with TopSite on Top and Also PimpMyBlogs TopSite gets a mention) and the second is a Thread from my Blog Shamelessly promoting my TopSite.

C'Mon where's the Challenge ?

Oh I am referring to the search "Blog TopSite" which isn't a highly active search but still it's a start.
