Wanted to take a poll here (without the stupid poll) and see how many blogs most of you have under your control that are in the Google index?

currently being managed by me: 4
# I have index: many.
The reason is that I had many blogs on differents free services such as blogger and deskmod (at the time it was an art community).
4 is actually enough for the moment, I'll try to get them updated as possible instead of starting new ones each day...

Good strategy on updating blogs rather than starting new ones. I have over 10 blogs none are indexed and have a hard time updating with fresh content.

I can talk about various subject without being out of my niche topic.

Yeap. You should consider this: each new blog created as no credibility until it's at least 6 months old and as good content in it.
I just started a fifth one where I talk about myself because I thought that would be interesting and most of the stuff that is on there is stuff I had written for school. I think it can become quite good, I just need to get it known by some of my friends who'll spread the word :)
I guess 10 should be enough for now. If some are almost about the same topic and you're having a hard time talking about the topic, just merge them together in one bigger niche. It's better to have it quite general so you can talk about various aspects of it. People generally tend to make their blog topic so narrow that it's too hard for them to post after like 5 days.

I love my "Blogger" Blogs and have about 30-40,
one for each aussie rules footy team (16)
Big Brother assortment (4-5)
SEO, Gaming, AFFiliates, Celeb's etc - 10-20
and 4 Forums.
A lot of work. ......But loving it.
And all/most in Google, some in Top 10. (outta 1000000 - 6000000)
