Any way to control the comments people leave for your blog in the top blogs section?

Somebody ought to be doing it. Skinny (http://www.pimpmyblog.com/forum/member.php?u=27)'s system over at Blog Nation uses the same script but is spammed (http://theblognation.com/topblogs/index.php?do=comments&id=1). Not a good look!
