Sometimes I go into popular forums and look at the posts that have the most replies. This normally gives me an idea on what to blog about. The reason there are alot of replies is normally because alot of people are interested or can relate to it so why not blog about it.

Sometimes this can work, but often it will just be stuff about Paris Hilton and flavour of the week celebs, which appears on thousands of other blogs. Unless you have a unique take on it, or have a way with words, it can get real boring seeing the same stuff repeated.

Yes you are right you do have to have something unique to add to it.

Yes they do but I am not really into the news thing. That's not really me. I have been answering yahoo questions and have been getting some traffic from there.

Great idea! Sometimes I just get ideas on my way to work and then just blog away.

sometimes when I write an article about SEO for our SEO Solution blog.. I usually read some of the latest post on different SEO forums and it is really a big help.. those web masters are giving lots of different information and also their opinion about a specific matter..

I also blog about certain niche that is brought up in a conversation and jot it down for later. Keep a little notebook and pen handy so that whenever a mood strikes, you can just blog about it later.
